All my clocks are made from mdf wood, cut by me into various shapes, painted, paper applied and then coated in a layer of clear resin. The clock mechanisms are all genuine Quartz and should last 10 years.

Sakura means “blossom” in Japanese, and Keijō translates to “shape”.

I’m as busy as a bee right now … why? Because on Sunday 8th August, I’m setting up shop at Mathilda’s Market! Mathilda’s is where you’ll find unique, stylish and exquisite baby & kids’ goods from some of Australia’s most gifted designers and crafters. All products are either lovingly handmade, or manufactured in limited quantities and just too irresistible to refuse! Stallholders are carefully handpicked to bring shoppers the most divine assortment of clothing, accessories, home wares and toys for the little ones. Most stallholders at Mathilda’s Market don’t have bricks and mortar stores, so you’re sure to find something utterly original there. If you’re looking to stylishly dress your children or decorate their home environment, and want an alternative to mass-produced items, you’ll adore this Market!

When & where: Sunday 8th August, 9am to 1pm at St Ignatius College, Riverview. Entry and parking is free.

Handmade Markets are on again

It’s now only one week to go until the Canberra Handmade Market is on again, and I’ve been a busy little bee getting everything ready! I’ve been making a bunch of magnets and badges for kids, as well as packaging up lots of Yuzen badges & pretty patterned paper magnets and working out displays and table arrangements. I only hope it doesn’t rain, as I don’t think my market umbrella is actually waterproof!
